Great Starter KitReview by Mark
I happen to be blind - yes, really - but I have always wanted to build my own guitar. Because of my lack of sight I thought I'd make a complete balls-up of a build, so I didn't want to spend too much money on what might end up being nothing more than firewood.
I also love Strats, so this seemed like a great choice for a first guitar build.
Construction was straightforward and the only trouble I had was drilling the holes for the bridge. However, bridge positioning turned out Okay even for me, although I wish they were pre-drilled. The neck and the body fitted reasonably well and the end result is quite solid.
I can't really comment on the bits and bobs, because I upgraded everything from the pick-guard to the tuning knobs, but I do intend to by another body and neck from KBG to test them out.
The great thing about this guitar is the price, because it's my knockabout guitar. The HSH setup suits the way I play and it does so well, but if it gets any dings or scratches I don't mind because that is what I built it for. I wet myself when my Jaguar 'Lithium' takes a tumble, but with 'XITS', my KBG guitar, hits the deck any war wounds just add character.
If the wide let me, I'd buy once of these kits a month.
My only gripe - please pre-drill the bridge holes, folks!

Real or a copy??Review by DrifterUK
I bought 1of these along with 2 Telecasters and I have to say they are an easy build. Once set up correctly the action is next to none. Awesome sound and playability. If you was to have Fender on the headstock people would think it was a genuine telecaster. I highly recommend any guitar from these guys. Plus the after care / customer relations is outstanding.

Thanks for everything and keep up the high standard Mike.
All the best and will be purchasing more in the near future.
